I STARTED MY JOURNEY WAY BEFORE I EVEN KNEW I HAD A GIFT FOR HAIR.
In high school, I would always be the one my friends would go to, to help them with their hair. I started experimenting, highlighting my own hair at 15.
I knew that I wasn’t cut out for a typical 9-5 behind the desk job. I would have anxiety at the thought of having a corporate job and working for someone else! With this mindset, after graduating high school, I enrolled in beauty school. I often felt the salon hair experience didn’t provide that boutique feel. I jumped at the opportunity to work on shoots & editorials that would allow me to perfect my craft. I worked as an assistant for a few years in top salons like Marie Claire on Miracle Mile, and Oribe on Lincoln Road in Miami.
I also worked as a stylist at a few salons and began to grow my own loyal clientele base. I decided to take a leap of faith and venture out on my own! Being able to mix my passion and talents has been one of my biggest blessings.
